TOOTH LOSS – ADULT
Why this is important: Losing a tooth is the worst outcome from the decay process. At the point where six or more teeth have been lost, the individual begins to have difficulty with eating, which further impacts their health. They may also have difficulty with speech and social connections, which may further impact their mental health.
Definition: Percent of adults missing six or more teeth due to decay.
