Spokane Regional Health District (SRHD) developed this dashboard with mental health indicators in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Some measures are indicators of stress levels, some are behavioral related such as substance use, and some are health outcomes such as suicidal tendencies. SRHD continues to update this dashboard as a way of monitoring key mental health components in the community.
The data comes from the Washington State Department of Health RHINO program/ESSENCE. Data presented may be either counts or percent of visits to an emergency department or an inpatient hospital admission. Counts less than 10 are suppressed.
Charts present the most recent year compared to the year before. The visible shading color indicates which year had a higher measure at that time for the indicator. Totals are presented by week. Measures for demographics are presented by month. Data is updated monthly.
